The Charity is totally independent from the hospital. We receive no financial help from the hospital, we rely totally on donations. We are always extremely grateful for any donations to provide all the help and equipment to patients. We spend in the region of £11000.00 each year, on different pieces of equipment such as wheel chairs, stair lifts, scooters, BP monitors, scales and numerous other items. Welcome to North Staffs Kidney Patients AssociationThe Charity was formed in 1982 by a group of the original dialysis patients, to support renal patients and their carers who are treated at The North Staffs Royal Infirmary (now the UHNS). The Charity is totally independent from the hospital. Originally the patients were from the North Staffs area but a much greater area is now covered, from Cheshire, Shropshire and much of Staffordshire. |
